This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements and test methods of ultrasonic testing blocks (or ultrasonic blocks). This standard is applicable to Type inspection and Ex-factory inspection of ultrasonic blocks.This standard may also be used as the acceptance criteria for in client orders. This standard is applicable to steel blocks.Other material blocks may refer to use.
