This European Standard specifies the re for step stools, stairtype steps and dometype steps stools. This includes design characteristics, dimensions, materials, performance re, test methods and the declaration of suitability of use. The standard excludes ladders and stepladders as defined by EN131-1:1993. The re are based upon the maximum total load of 150 kg.
